June 10, 2018: After this years running of the Ontario QSO Party I became aware that the programs no longer run under Windows 10. I have been thinking of updating the programs for the past couple of years. I have started work on a long wanted, cross-platform version of the programs. The updated version will be made to work under both Linux and Windows. As I don't have access to a computer running OSX I will not be able to create a version to run on Mac based computers.
April 19, 2018: A new version of the OQP.DAT is available on the download page for the 2018 running of the Ontario QSO Party. The call signs of the bonus point stations have been updated. It also has two changes in the list of valid DXCC entities. Midway I. (KH4) and Kure I. (KH7K) have been reinstated as DXCC entities by the ARRL.

April 5, 2013: Updated the PREFIXES.TXT and OQP.DAT file with new DXCC multipliers of: PJ2, PJ4, PJ5 and PJ6, PJ7, and Z8. The prefixes.txt file is for information only and is not used by the programs. Users who have the 1.07.1 version of the programs do not need to download the .zip file again.
April 3, 2007: Version 1.07.1 is now available for download. The changes are only in the post processing program. The export function creates a single output file when exporting multiple log files. The summary sheets show the day of the month on which a clean sweep was achieved in addition to the time.
March 27, 2007: Version 1.07 is now available for download. This release was needed due to changes in this years rules regarding scoring, allowed bands, and valid multipliers. If you use this software, either during or after the OQP, you MUST use this new release. Versions earlier than 1.07 will not score your 2007 entry correctly.
March 6, 2006: For the 2006 edition of the OQP the call VA3CCO has been added to the list of 10-point bonus stations. The data file in the zip file has been updated and is also available separately.
April 28, 2004: Version 1.06.1 is now available for download. Fixed off by one error in multiplier counting due to fix for ON as DXCC.
April 23, 2004: Version 1.06 is now available for download. If you want to use the Cabrillo export feature, I strongly suggest you update to this release. Included in this release are fixes for a couple of bugs related to Cabrillo export in addition to several other bug fixes and two minor enhancements. April 2, 2004: Version 1.05 is now available for download. If you are using an older version, I strongly suggest you update to this release. This release includes fixes for a couple of minor but potentially nasty bugs, some changes for SWL users, support for exporting logs in Cabrillo format, plus a few other minor changes. April 23, 2003: Before 11:08am the wrong version of the oqp1_041.zip file was here and it contained an older copy of the OQP.DAT file. The corrected version of the oqp1_041.zip file is now available or you can just get the latest OQP.DAT file.
April 22, 2003: Version 1.04.1 is now available for download. This is primarily a maintenance release. It fixes two bugs that can affect the information shown on the summary sheets. It also includes one bug fix and one improvement to the View/Edit feature of the logging program. See the changes.txt file for more details.
April 20, 2003: Three minor errors have been found in the programs. Two of them may affect the score shown on the summary sheets. See the list of known problems below. A new version of the programs will be made available within a week. The delay is to allow time to fix any other problems that may be found.
April 12, 2003: Version 1.04 is now available for download. This release consists of some minor bug fixes and clean up of some minor user interface issues. Additional changes were made as part of the plans to spin off the program as a general QSO party logging program. One of the more important changes allows recognition of a bonus point station whether it is fixed, mobile, or rover without the need to change any of the data files. The programs can also be used by SWL's.
October 22, 2002: This release consists of a few minor bug fixes, some cosmetic changes, and some enhancements. The enhancements do not change the way a user interacts with the program. They were done as part of plans to spin off the program as a more general purpose QSO party logging program. The main bug fix improves the automatic recognition of DXCC entities where the entity code consists of four characters.
September 6, 2002: Version 1.02 is now available for download. Default CW labels and messages are now read from the main data file. Fixed a divide by zero error in the post processing program.
September 4, 2002: Version 1.01 is now available for download. The changes made make the program adjust the display automatically to accommodate changes in the multiplier codes listed in the oqp.dat file. This is the first step in making the program able to handle logging for other radio contests.
August 24, 2002: Version 1.00 was issued as the first non-beta release.
June 7, 2002: Version 0.9.17 is now available for download. Implemented range set as part of the edit features of the main logging program. Improved support for SWL users. In the logfix program, user wasn't told to rename output file to one with a '-' if multiplier sent contained a '/'. Non-mobile/rover stations can now be logged with different multipliers. Minor changes in ADIF export. Also made some other minor changes and bug fixes. The web pages are being slowly updated to include additional (and missing) information on the programs.
May 11, 2002: Version 0.9.16 of the logging program is now available for download. The name of the file was in upper case when it was uploaded previously resulting in a broken link.
May 3, 2002: Version 0.9.16 of the logging program is now available for download. Fixed error in counting of multipliers. Fixed calculation of final overall score for mobile/rover stations. Corrections to DXCC data. Made some changes to the summary sheets generated by the post processing program. Added ability to edit the log from within the logging program. Added ADIF export support of log files (not fully tested) to the post processing program.
April 9, 2002: Version 0.9.13 of the logging program is now available for download. Fixed problem in creation of users data directory. Added message to help user know what to enter for multiplier on start of logging program. This should be the last version release prior to this years contest.
April 6, 2002: Version 0.9.12 of the logging program is now available for download. Fixed a problem in the generation of summary sheets. Also fixed a few other minor bugs.
March 28, 2002: Version 0.9.11 of the logging program is now available for download. One final change to the format of the log file has been made to fix a problem in the View/Edit screen. Also fixed a couple of minor user interface issues.
March 27, 2002: Version 0.9.10 of the logging program is now available for download. Several changes were made to the post processing program. It will award bonus points to qualifying mobile/rover stations, and it can generate a master summary sheet.
March 18, 2002: Version 0.9.9 of the logging program is now available for download. Apart from a few bug fixes, and clean up of the code and some user interface issues, this release introduces two new programs. The first is a configuration program used before the contest. The second is used to fix log files (or update logs from previous years to help with testing). April 27, 2001: Version 0.9.7 of the logging program has been uploaded. This is probably the last release of the program until closer to the date for the next contest. This version fixes some of the more important/annoying bugs found during last weekends contest and introduces a few changes.
